Voter World started from watching poll workers struggle through a lot of dense material in a short amount of time, and knowing there had to be a better way to learn it.

We didn't want to just repeat the training manual online. We wanted something that builds a real framework in your head — the big picture first, with detail only when you actually need it — because the longer you dwell on a single detail, the faster the big picture fades.

Voter World is an independent project, created and maintained by private individuals — not an official product of Santa Clara County or its Registrar of Voters. We built it because we thought poll workers deserved a better way to learn, not because anyone asked us to.
